Named after the Charles Mingus song ‘Orange was the colour of her dress’. Patrice is experimental in the cave with this wine. This topped up wine consists of 3 barrels Savagnin macerated on skins for 7 months and 2 barrels Savagnin pressed out after a long carbonic maceration, which is blended back in with the skin contact Savagnin a couple of weeks before bottling. The extra texture to this wine provides interest and drinkability with food. Only 2000 bottles made.
